Zearfoss on pace for big results at Knoxville; Beaver Dam next on agenda

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

JONESTOWN, Pa. (June 13, 2022) - The “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss was well on his way to his sixth top-ten performance of the World of Outlaws season Saturday night at the Sprint Car Capital of the World, but a tire issue after wall contact forced the Series sophomore to slow and bring out the caution; he was third when the incident occurred with 16 circuits remaining.

Despite the heartache, Zearfoss, who finished second in his respective heat race, as well as second in the evening’s dash to kick-off Knoxville’s Brownells Big Guns Bash finale, would return to the speedway and recover to finish 15th.
Zearfoss’ Saturday night performance was an incredible rebound after being forced to utilize a World of Outlaws provisional one night prior; he finished 19th after starting 25th.

“Definitely some frustration for this team right now. We had a great car all night long and that’s a huge momentum kick for the Knoxville Nationals later this summer. I just wish we could have finished where we belonged,” Zearfoss said, driver of the Brock Zearfoss Racing, Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, Berkebile Oil Company, X-1 Race Cars, K1 RaceGear, BK Titanium, AL Driveline, Bruce’s Speed Shop, No. 3Z sprint car. “A great effort by this team all weekend long. I can’t say that enough. We have a big weekend ahead at Beaver Dam so the plan is to pick up right where we left off.”

ON DECK:
Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their sophomore campaign with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series with the Jim "JB" Boyd Memorial at Beaver Dam Raceway in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, on Friday and Saturday, June 17-18. The weekend will award a total winner’s share equaling $30,000; $10,000 on Friday and $20,000 on Saturday.
