JONESTOWN, Pa. (September 10, 2018) – Although Brock Zearfoss was representing the All Star Circuit of Champions during his recent visit to Port Royal Speedway, the Jonestown, Pa., native felt right at home, picking up right where he left off on Monday with a top-five performance during Night Before The Tuscarora 50 competition on Friday, September 7.

Zearfoss, wheel man for Destiny Motorsports, earned his top-five performance in fantastic fashion, charging ahead from row six to finish fourth in 30 circuits. The ‘Jonestown Jet’ earned his way into the $5,000-to-win, All Star main event by finishing third during his respective heat race. There were 46 cars entered for action.

Unfortunately, Mother Nature ruined all hope for Saturday’s 51st running of the Tuscarora 50. The historic, $51,000-to-win blockbuster has been postponed with a makeup date to be determined.

“We were on a rail on Friday night. I just wish we could have started a little closer to the front. I’m not sure we were good enough to win it, but it was going to be close. We were strong,” Zearfoss said, who will follow the All Star Circuit of Champions schedule full-time for the rest of the season. “I can’t thank my team enough for their hard work and dedication. We had a little bit of an advantage on Friday because I am really familiar with Port Royal, and so is my family and former crew. We were able to bounce ideas off of each other and get the car where it needed to be. Too bad we didn’t get to race on Saturday. Hopefully they can get the Tuscarora 50 rescheduled.”

Brock Zearfoss and Destiny Motorsports will continue their 2018 campaign with a pair of All Star Circuit of Champions events during the upcoming weekend, first visiting Outlaw Speedway in Dundee, N.Y., on Friday, September 14. Behind the wheel of his Brock Zearfoss Racing No. 3Z, the ‘Jonestown Jet’ joined the All Stars during their first Outlaw Speedway visit of 2018 and set the evening’s fastest time during qualifying time trials.

The upcoming weekend will conclude with the $10,000-to-win Jim Nace Memorial/National Open at Selinsgrove (Pa.) Speedway on Saturday, September 15.
