Zearfoss’ Knoxville Nationals effort begins tonight

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

JONESTOWN, Pa. (August 10, 2023) - It’s the most important week of the year for many of the world’s finest open wheel competitors, and for Jonestown, Pennsylvania’s Brock Zearfoss, the feeling is no different, aiming to not only etch his name on Saturday night’s A-Main grid, but ultimately contend for a Knoxville Nationals title, a crown that carries prestige, as well as a $185,000 payday.

Zearfoss, a full-time wheelman with the Greatest Show On Dirt, will begin his Knoxville Nationals effort later this evening, Thursday, August 10, by competing in his respective qualifying night. A solid and consistent overall performance will set the stage for the rest of the week. If all goes according to plan, the “Jonestown Jet” will lock himself into Saturday’s finale.

A former Knoxville Nationals A-Main starter, Zearfoss, ace of the Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, Milton Hershey School, A. Lane Living, No. 3Z sprint car, will roll into his Knoxville Nationals preliminary effort fresh off of a top-ten performance in Southern Iowa Speedway’s annual Front Row Challenge on Monday, August 7; he finished ninth after starting 14th.

Zearfoss owns five World of Outlaws top-ten finishes on the year, all of which anchored by a fifth-place performance at US 36 Raceway in Osborn, Missouri, on Friday, April 7.

“It’s the biggest week of the year and we’re ready for it,” Zearfoss said. “It all begins with qualifying. It’s probably the most important two laps of the season. I know we have what it takes to put ourselves in position to make the ‘A’ on Saturday. We just have to put it all together.”

ON DECK:
Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their 2023 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series campaign with the coveted Knoxville Nationals awarding $185,000-to-win.
