Zearfoss earns top-ten in Devil’s Bowl’s Final Stampede opener; All dirt roads lead to The Dirt Track at Charlotte

JONESTOWN, Pa. (October 23, 2023) - The “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss did his best to impress in his final visit to Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas, and impress is what he did, eventually highlighting the facility’s Final Stampede with a top-ten performance on Friday, October 20. The Jonestown, Pennsylvania, native finished seventh in his top-ten appearance, improving two positions after starting ninth on the $12,000-to-win grid. The result was Zearfoss’ eighth top-ten score of the season, still hunting his first World of Outlaws triumph since his Cedar Lake victory lane appearance one season ago.
Zearfoss, ace of the Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, Milton Hershey School, A. Lane Living, No. 3Z sprint car, raced on to finish 13th in Devil’s Bowl Speedway’s Final Stampede finale on Saturday, October 21, nearly accomplishing a top-ten sweep after starting 11th on the $20,023-to-win grid. Setting the tone, the former Port Royal Speedway champion finished third and fourth in his respective Devil’s Bowl heat races.
“It was special to be a part of Devil’s Bowl’s final weekend, and to score a top-ten in the process made the experience even more memorable,” Brock Zearfoss explained. “We’ll take this momentum shift and use it wisely in our upcoming trip to the World Finals. We’ve had success at Charlotte before so there’s no reason why we can't do that again.”
