DOWN UNDER UPDATE: Zearfoss with tough luck in weekend double, Perth Motorplex ahead
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
JONESTOWN, Pa. (January 5, 2026) - The “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss and S&D Motorsport went toe to toe with some tough luck during the recent weekend, forced to conclude each of their starts at Perth Motorplex and Bunbury Speedway short of expectation. In fact, mechanical woes were the culprit in the aforementioned double, breaking a right rear shock stud on Friday and a birdcage - while running second - on Saturday. Regardless, the team did the best they could to persevere, still managing to finish 12th at Perth.
The Goldstar Transport, Fennell Tyres, Blue Water Shipping, Velocity Truck Centers, No. W95 team will push forward and continue their January stretch with another doubleheader, this time back at Perth Motorplex for the USA vs. Western Australia Speedweek Finale on January 9-10.
“If we can shake off some of this bad luck, we’ll be just fine,” Brock Zearfoss noted. “We still have one week to go. Can’t thank everyone at S&D Motorsport enough for their hard work, support, and most importantly, hospitality. It’s a privilege to come to Australia and compete and we’re enjoying every minute of the experience. We’ll work to end our campaign on top.”
